Lyrics Edit

Laying on a blanket of cool, spring grass
Listening to the sound of a river roll past
Tracing the stars while the crickets sing a love song
Rubbing toes in our bare feet while I'm feeling that rhythm of your heart beat
And got me thinking how we're shining
Who needs the sun at dawn?

And ooh
Baby we light up the night, light up the night
It's a spark so strong
Setting fire to the sky, fire to the sky
Baby, when you pull me in tight
Brighter than an army of fireflies
And ooh
Baby we light up the night, light up the night

Bet you could feel this rush from miles around
Like a lightning strike when it hits the ground
It's like the first time, every time that we touch
Something about my hand in yours
Like holding a match to a kerosene torch
Yeah, the glow from the moon
Baby, ain’t got nothing on us

And ooh
Baby we light up the night, light up the night
It's a spark so strong
Setting fire to the sky, fire to the sky
Baby, when you pull me in tight
Brighter than an army of fireflies
And ooh
Baby we light up the night, light up the night

And ooh
Baby we light up the night, light up the night
It's a spark so strong
Setting fire to the sky, fire to the sky
Baby, when you pull me in tight
Brighter than an army of fireflies
And ooh
Baby we light up the night, light up the night
Ooh, baby, we light up the night
